SurePath Agent Instructions

1. Register for SurePath eBonding with IVT – Please use the “Agent - eBonding Registration”

2. Process payment for eBonding with IVT. Payment details will arrive after registration form is received. Review our pricing schedule here.

3. Obtain an electronic Digital Signature (www.identrust.com) – instructions for Agent are attached.

4. Request participating Sureties to grant Power of Attorney status in SurePath.

5. Make sure you are running version 3.6 of SureForm  (Contact us once you have requested your signatures).

6. Logon to SurePath (setup and training performed by IVT)

7. Issue eBid Bond per client's instructions using a carrier with Power of Attorney in SurePath.

8. Sign eBid Bond with Digital Signature after bond is executed.

9. Email eBid Bond to contractor/client. (.sfd file)

10. PA Turnpike Performance / Payment eBond follows the same execution process, view additional documentation within information package.

 

PA Turnpike Contractor Instructions

1. Register with PA Turnpike Commission.

2. Register for SurePath eBonding License with IVT. Please use Contractor Registration form in package above.

3. Make Payment for IVT eBonding Contractor License

4. Obtain a minimum of 2 electronic Digital Signatures / one or more for signer(s) and one for the witness (www.identrust.com) this process can take up to a week, request overnight service if necessary.

5. Install SureForm bond form viewer (please contact us once you receive your signature)

6. Request bid bond from SurePath Agent, be sure to include all the names and titles of who will be signing the bond on your request.

7. Receive electronically signed Bond from SurePath Agent via email.

8. Digitally sign and save the bond form document on your computer – attach to the PA Turnpike bid submission system.

9. PA Turnpike Performance / Payment eBond follows the same execution process, view additional documentation within information package.

 

Note:  It is the contractor’s responsibility to be aware of and comply with any additional Obligee eBidding / eBonding requirements other than the submitted eBond.
